SUMMARY:Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:In place of our regular Evening Prayer service this month\, we 
 are holding our annual Memorial Service.\n\nEach autumn we hold a Memorial
  Service at St Cuthbert at which we recall ‘those we love but see no lon
 ger’. Particularly we extend an invitation to those who have been bereav
 ed over the past 12 months.\n\nThis service is an opportunity to give than
 ks together for the earthly lives of those special to us and to affirm all
  that they mean to us. The death of a loved one can be very painful and it
  can take years to re-adjust and work through grief\, but we know that man
 y people find the Memorial Service to be a very special and helpful moment
 .\n\nWe hope and pray that this Memorial Service will be a time of encoura
 gement and strength as we reflect on our bereavement in the light of Jesus
  Christ\, who died for us and has risen to eternal life.
