Our choir meets once per month for a brief rehearsal to practice for the month of services ahead, and anyone is welcome to join us!

No auditions needed, and an ability to read sheet music is not required (though helpful!). We do sing in parts (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass – or Baritone), but each part is helpfully gone through by our organist John.

You are not formally committing to anything by joining us: come to whichever services you wish. If you only want to join for the occasional special service or Christmas services – that’s fine! If you want to join for general Sunday services but can only make one service a month – that’s great! Whatever your circumstances or preferences, we’re happy to have you.

The choir is based primarily at St John the Divine for weekly services, but also sings at St Cuthberts for Parish Communions and special services.
