Each autumn we hold a Memorial Service at St Cuthbert at which we recall ‘those we love but see no longer’. Particularly we extend an invitation to those who have been bereaved over the past 12 months.

This service is an opportunity to give thanks together for the earthly lives of those special to us and to affirm all that they mean to us. The death of a loved one can be very painful and it can take years to re-adjust and work through grief, but we know that many people find the Memorial Service to be a very special and helpful moment.

We hope and pray that this Memorial Service will be a time of encouragement and strength as we reflect on our bereavement in the light of Jesus Christ, who died for us and has risen to eternal life.
