As I have begun this new role as Mission Enabler in the parish, I have been discerning where best we as a parish should focus our efforts and look for growth. In particular, I feel drawn to pray, pray, pray for the parish and all the people living and working in our community. God is calling people to join him, and we stand in the gap praying and interceding for those he calls. Therefore, from November, I will be beginning regular prayer walking around the parish and encourage anyone who wishes to, to join me. We will meet at St Cuthbert’s each Wednesday at 12noon, beginning Wednesday 2nd November, then either walking from there, or driving to and then walking round different parts of the parish each week. – Emma (Mission Enabler)
